Course content
The course comprises 21 lessons of 45 minutes each, taking participants from an overview of BIM through to the detail. BaezeniSoft has built the course from a range of modules to give the most comprehensive grounding possible:

BIM fundamentals (6 lessons)
This module gives an overview of BIM and what it makes possible for the construction industry. Participants become familiar with the basic concepts, collaboration models and BIM use cases, and gain a clear understanding of the standards and documents to be complied with. -
Managing BIM project information to ISO 19650 (4 lessons)
Focusing on the concepts and principles of ISO 19650, this module shows participants how to organise and manage information on a BIM project in a structured, purposeful way, establishing a solid foundation for project planning and coordination. -
The common data environment (CDE) (2 lessons)
This section introduces the ISO 19650 information management process in a common data environment, so participants understand the roles of the parties involved and the flow of information exchanged within the CDE. -
openBIM and data exchange in an openBIM environment (3 lessons)
This module gives a comprehensive view of openBIM and how data is exchanged in both openBIM and closed BIM environments, so participants understand the requirements for exchanging data between applications on a BIM project. -
BIM for infrastructure asset operators (3 lessons)
Focusing on implementing BIM in asset operations management, this module covers the processes and structured information exchange requirements needed to manage asset information effectively. -
National BIM standards (3 lessons)
Participants are introduced to the BIM standards applied in Australia and New Zealand and to Vietnam's BIM guidance, giving them a clearer picture of BIM adoption trends and standards country by country.
